Product Care

Braided Placemats

Wipe clean after each use with a mild dish soap and water. Pay special attention to tough stains such as oil, sauce, or wine, as these should be addressed promptly. Once stains set, they may become difficult to remove. For stubborn stains, apply a citrus-based stain remover and wash with water. If necessary, soak the placemats in water for a few minutes or gently scrub with a dish brush using a mild dish soap (such as Dawn® or a similar brand). Avoid abrasive scrubbers to prevent damage to the placemat’s surface. Always allow the placemat to air dry completely before storing.

Coasters

Wipe coasters clean after each use with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent with warm water. Avoid soaking the coasters as this can cause damage to the backing material. Allow them to dry thoroughly before storing.

Embroidered Linens (Fine Linen)

For embroidered linens, machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle with mild detergent. Do not bleach or use harsh chemicals. Tumble dry on a low heat setting, removing the linens while still damp to minimize wrinkles. If necessary, iron on a linen setting while damp or use steam to remove wrinkles. For delicate embroidery, you may also choose to iron on the reverse side to protect the design.

Easy-Care (Prewashed Linen)

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Dry on a delicate cycle, and remove promptly from the dryer to avoid wrinkles. Iron on a linen setting while damp or lay flat to air dry if preferred. For a more relaxed, wrinkled look, you can skip the ironing altogether. Do not bleach or use spot removers that contain bleach.

Natural Material Placemats

Wipe clean with a damp cloth after each use. If staining occurs, spot clean immediately with water and a mild detergent to prevent stains from setting. Allow the placemats to air dry completely. For deeper cleaning, gently scrub with a soft brush and mild detergent. Do not soak or leave in direct sunlight for extended periods.
